2009 Kioti DK45S FWD keeps blowing fuses. Have not had a chance to dive deeper yet.

So pto and fwd both not working now. I fixed the fuel leak issue, turned out to be fuel return off injectors. FWD still blowing fuses instantly. I suspect pto safety switch in dash for pto. I hope to find something simple. Anybody else have these issues? Also, the hour meter stopped working.

Update: pto and hour meter fixed. Completely disassemble dash and switches. Cleaned all contacts and all good now on that front. I am glad the switches were simple tab assembled versus plastic welded/sealed/unserviceable type. Now onto the fwd. I am hoping for a pinched wire somewhere. That wire tracing should be fun.

It's only a tractor so prety minimal pannels to move and you have acess to nearly every wire on the machine.

On my 2911 DK 45 cab, The pto and 4x4 on the kioti tractors , if they use the switch instead of a lever, have a relay under steering wheel plastic cover. You also need to test the output on the switch. I recall a few other people that had switches fail. Theres also a 4x4 solenoid under the tractor, but i hope thats not the isdue, cause thats very expensive.

The pto and 4x4 use the same fuse, so if pto is working, its not the fuse. There is a wire running to the 4x4 solenoid which may have been damaged.

For the life of me, i cant find where the 4x4 solenoid is even located. The pto solenoid is on the transmission top, but not sure where the other one is. The only thing 8 find is a crappy picture, but not very detailed. Part 37 is the solenoid

Your point is valid but between the years of grease, grime, and general crud, it can be a challenge….and then there is the fact that it was in the hot sun with 70+% humidity. I did fix the fwd, it too was switch related. All working well now except I think I reinstalled a screw or two, into the dash circuit board in the wrong position. My temp and fuel gauge not working. They worked prior.

The circuit board uses a few brass screws that I got out of position, apparently. That will be a few days or so away as we are entering a brutal hot, humid, stretch of weather. Hibernation is in order.:)
