I have dated dumb as a stump women, and I have dated super intelligent women. I married one that was middle of the road. It did not work out.

I currently have a super intelligent woman that that lives with me. She is frequently upset with me for some unknown reason. This is getting very old.

I'm not sure it's my problem or a women problem. My buddy says that I'm set in my ways, and he's right. Things will be going fine, then for no reason I am treated like a shitbag.

She works from home and I am retired. I do most of the chores and pay for most of the bills. Yet I feel like a guest in my own house.

How do you people stay married? No freaking way I would ever do that again...

Going on 18 years, and we have both hurt one another, but we do our best with communication and forgiveness because at the end of the day we are human. Humans, raised by humans, raising humans. We do our best, and when we screw up we try to learn from it.

I can thank God for one more thing, we are actually friends, best friends.

Married 50+ years here. And none of that attitude from either of us. It's partnership, that works fine.

I guess I don’t understand how people think living together is different than marriage unless the “commitment” scares them and they think the problems are different without that commitment.

Communication is the difficult key to making a relationship work especially since women are Venus and men from Uranus.

Just crossed 37 years and still going. I can be an ass and we can't work together but have always looked down on the path. We get over each others mistakes and are there when the other needs us. Still a work in progress and will always be. Raised 2 kids and have a grand around every day.
We all change over time and you have to learn to love the other person for what they become.

BTW after 37 years I still do not understand her thinking, I just quit being mad about it.

Talk about dumb as a stump, I dated a woman that thought Alaska and Hawaii were both islands next to each other in the Pacific Ocean (like the old school maps of the US used to show them) She was a looker though!!

As far as women and marriage... I am just figuring it out myself. I just got married for the first time 3 years ago at 47. Every day is not easy, but it is better than dying a lonely old bastard, or so far I think it is. Ask me in 3 more years.

I don’t need a woman as a friend. Too much drama and they are wired differently. Sex and intimacy makes up for the drama.

From my experience she is being be ***** because she is not married. Once you marry her she will still be a *****.
