Have you considered shadowing out your tools in the drawers? I made a 2nd layer tray in one of my deep drawers that easily removes and put my lesser-used tools on the bottom. Gave me twice the space in one drawer.My old Craftsman stacked toolbox is too small now. I bought a set of T-handle Allen wrenches and have no room in my box for them and no place on the wall to hang them.
I found a top-bottom set that I like but I just can't bring myself to wright the check.
And that is just as frustrating as having no room for them.
Here's a few examples of the shadowing. No pictures of the tray. I have one drawer dedicated to t-handles and Allen packs.

I trained with a retired military mechanic, who's made his living with his tools for a long, long time. He has a very nice toolbox, tools, etc... and they are organized to a T. He shadowed out...
