Got the radio and speakers wired. I must say, it sounds pretty good. Got the flood light wired and the rear view camera off the fuse block. Got the fuel gauge wired.

Got the charger pedistool cut and drilled. This actually increases my water wading clearance to 18" from 12". Not that I'd want to test/push it, but it's a nice feeling to have that extra clearance. And I live on top of a hill, so there's really no water to speak of.

To do is the headlights, tail lights, brake lights, reverse camera, wipers, and fan. And for some reason I'm not getting any FM reception, I'm not sure why.

The 5kwh battery is just over 5% of my total house capacity. In an emergency, I could tap the cart battery to power the house to do essentials. It would be as easy as carrying it inside, and running some wires to the dc bus bar. It would also charge from my solar panels while wired, but could not charge from solar directly while in the cart.

If I was buying today that's what I'd be looking at. Battery powered golf cart with a bed in the back. I really like having a windshield too.

It has doors with windows that open, but I had them off to make it easier to work on. Fully enclosed cab was a requirement due to rain/snow. My primary use case will be hauling 5-7 bags of chicken feed at a time, rather than carrying one bag on my shoulders 50 yards from feed storage to the chicken coop and making 5-7 trips.

I was carting around yesterday for a good hour. I went down the road and cruising is 15-18mph. I can go to the farm store 2 miles down the street and pick up hay with it.

I was putting the doors back on the cart, i left one hand go to drop the pin in. It slipped. Right onto my big toe. Right where the nail comes out.

Fortunately i was wearing flip flops and could make a quick assessment of the damage. Lots of blood nail is black, broke the skin under it.

Fortunate would have been wearing work boots with toe guards.

I hope you learned a lesson there. It's time to update to these
