If I recall correctly, the 9N does not have a live PTO. That is often a real problem, especially when brush hogging and you need to stop for anything.
NO it is not a problem, an ORC (over run clutch) freewheels the PTO when you stop the tractor. Not to mention not being able to stop the tractor from going in the pond, your wife's flower garden, etc., as the centrifugal force of the bush hog blade being transferred forward to the transmission continues to drive the tractor forward, even with one standing on the clutch, cussing, praying, etc.John, I agree with you.
