JD850 with JD80 front end loader--Hydraulics issue, bucket strains to dump and has no strength

Sounds like one of the quick disconnects has come partially undone or is failing in the dump circuit. When these fail they act like a flow restriction.
Try unplugging and reconnecting the quick disconnects to see if that possibly solves your problem

Well, a couple posts ago on this thread I mentioned that I would go and check on those quick disconnects that scame to mind as I was typing through the trouble here, and start to trouble shoot, and I discovered that one of those four hydraulic hose quick connects had indeed come undone, but it was almost impossible to tell as the end was still mostly up into the female. It took a little doing to get it connected properly again but when I did--voala! I have my normally functioning JD80 loader back again I am delighted to report!

So many thanks for all of the thoughts on this and for such speedy replies! Back in action!
