What air pressure do you run your tires at? I've been thinking that if I lowered my air pressure, I would have a smoother ride. The bouncing from the ground is what wears me out the most when mowing.

I don’t keep real good track of that, but I’d guess mid teens. Like 15 ish.
You can run your tires quite a bit lower than the manufacturer says.
If you run their tire pressure, you’ll probably get youself hemorrhoids or bite your tongue off. lol

my compact isn’t in the same class Eddie, but after going to Titans website and looking up load vs pressure for my tires I run 12/15 rear/front with mid mount mower and 20/25 with loader/ballast box.

Do you push stuff like that out of the way with the bale spear? Probably situation dependent??

I like to have the grapple on when I bush hog around my little property for situations just like that.

Oh yeah. My bale spear and frame pushed that branch aside like a toothpick.
I used to always take off the bale spear and put the grapple on when I switched from hay to mowing, but sometimes I just don’t feel like it.

I need to get back to doing that.

My tractors aren't nearly as big as Hay Dude's. I run 13 psi max in the back tires...I want to see a bit of a bulge in the sidewall. Much easier on me and the tractor and whatever implements I've got hooked up - and better traction also. Same with the front tires - don't remember the exact PSI but I want a little bulge in the sidewall. If I'll be lifting heavy loads with the FEL then I'll add air to the front tires just long enough to do the job.

Thanks. I'm at 20psi in on my front tires and 15 on my rear tires. I'm thinking of going lower to get a better ride. I'm just not sure how low I can go and not cause any damage?

I wouldn't go under 12 PSI in the rears, below that working on any kind of side hill your likely to roll the tire off the bead. I like 15 psi in my rears generally to me it seems like a good balance for working and traveling 18.4-30's and then the 20.8-38's. The smaller rears 15-19.5 I keep around 20 psi.

If you go too low, you’ll damage your sidewalls. 20 up front and you’ll be bouncing like a basketball. Are they radial tires? Try backing off a pound or 2 for a while.
I do super heavy loader work ~15lbs no issues, but each tire and tractor will react differently
