Went for a walk by the pond but it started to get real humid so I cut it short. I was able to get one shot of this Monarch butterfly.

Neat picture. Fuddy, since your going eventually cut up the pumpkin anyways, why not just cut it away from the fence when the time comes to harvest it ?

I had a Sugar Hubbard winter squash do that 2 years ago, but I saw what was going on in advance and cut some of the wire mesh out to allow the squash to grow. This year I was repurposing the wire fencing and I wondered what the heck is this hole in the wire was from.... then I remembered, I did that.
