At 72 years old, I finally got over being “woman crazy”!

Let me chime in, I’ve been married to the same wonderful lady for 58 years come this December I knew her for five days when I propose and foolish she accepted. She raised the kids while I spent almost 3 1/2 years in Vietnam and I love her more today than when I married her, unfortunately 4+ years ago she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and has now been in a nursing home for over a year and a half she still knows me but little else, and all I can do is hold onto her if you have a good woman hold on tight. her disease and loss of memory pulls on my heart every day

I know what you mean. My wife suffered from ALS for 5 years and passed last spring. Broke my heart every day of those 5 years. Surprisingly I met and am dating a really nice woman, we are very compatible, and things are going well. I guess I’ll see where things go from here.

Married once, rolled around with more than I can count and way more than the names I can remember.
That the one true love, at least from my side, is the one that always comes to mind.
I run into her every year or two and my stomach turns flips and my heart races. My mouth goes to mush.
