New grapple day, 55in Wicked grapple

Homestead makes multiple styles but I gave up on them because I can't get their website to work. I've tried two different browsers, both with popup blockers, and they go nuts on HI's site and I can't actually see or order anything.

I'm only willing to put in so much effort when trying to give someone my money. I want to research and compare brands and models with a few mouse clicks. I'm not even able to see specs on their website using Brave or Chrome browsers. Fortunately there are a lot of quality grapples on the market at similar prices. When I started searching for a grapple I bookmarked 6 that seemed to fit my needs. I'm holding off for another week before ordering so it doesn't arrive while I'm on vacation. My plan was to open each of those bookmarks and compare specs then order the one that best fits. 5 of the 6 websites work fine.

I know that ad blocker plugins can break some sites and mine reported blocking 13 popups/ads/tracking cookies so I'm sure that has something to do with it. It's easy to just move on. I'm leaning heavily towards Catawba.

Before anyone puts down money at EA for anything you might want to read the post from a year past about their shady dealings and how some never got their money back after EA didn't deliver.

Yep they'd restarted when I was doing my "finally I'm going to actually buy a grapple!" but there's plenty of people who haven't obviously screwed their customers - even if they've allegedly "made good" (did they pay interest? idk) - that I don't believe in second chances for businesses.

Treat your workers right, treat your customers right.

What they (Everything Attachments) did to their customers leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. For that reason, I will never support their business. I won't judge anyone else who does as we all make our own decisions.

Amen to the above. Bought a 8' foot box blade from EA long before their self created financial train wreck but won't further support a business that took many customer's money and didn't deliver.

Congrats! My EA Wicked 55 has saved me so much time, pain and energy(along with their pine rake). Its taken every beating like a pro and asks for more.
I was surprised to see this post. Thought they were gone 4eva! I understand the animosity towards them and their recent management issues. But hopefully their employees are able to reset and keep their families fed and housed moving fwd.. You're gonna love that grapple! If i ever sell the tractor, I'm getting the Wicked 55 bronzed and sticking it in the living room! Maybe I can make a couch out of it? Its pretty special!!
