Oliver/Row Crop88
I have an old Oliver Row Crop 88 that someone modified so that you set facing the rear and a snowblower is mounted on the 3-point. It works great for my snowblowing needs. But I went to start it this week to do some maintenance work on it and it wouldn't start. After a lot of troubleshooting, I discovered that the switch that turns the power on wasn't working. I am including a picture of the switch in hopes that someone can help me find a replacement. I would like to find an exact replacement if possible. I have tried searching on the Internet but have been unsuccessful so far.View attachment 4041764

Kdc72,

Welcome to TBN, The attachment can not be viewed. I think that you have to have more post in order to post a photo.
So, you are saying that you have to submit a certain # of posts before you are allowed to put an attachment on? That doesn't make much sense to me…

I believe the minimum post requirement was put in a few years ago to combat link spamming. I believe the post count was set at 5 if I remember correctly.

So I have to make 5 posts like the one that I made before I can use attachments or does something like this response to you count as 1?

I believe that your response counts as an additional post so just keep on plugging away.

I remember farming with some old Oliver tractors including an 88 about 50 years ago. We never had any problems with the switches. I wonder if you might have some wiring issues going to the switch. They are pretty simple compared to the newer tractors.

It would be interesting to see a picture of your tractor. How did they modify the steering and the throttle? How do you shift gears while facing backwards? Our 88 didn't even have a three point hitch.
