Gonna try this one more time.

The bite closest to the knee is the one that nearly killed her. The bite went under the knee where there is a vein or artery that was exposed. I am no medical person so I don't know which one. All we know is that the surgeon said it was very close to being opened and she would have bled to death before the ambulance arrived. The bone was exposed in two places. She walks stiff legged and is undergoing therapy to help get motion back. The mother said the therapy is the only thing she has complained or cried about during the entire ordeal. Well, she cried when she got the rabies shots into the open wounds.

Be very careful around stray dogs or any animal that you do not know. Especially when children are around.

What an ordeal. We have no idea what she went thru.
