    The trailhead is about 6 miles past the MWTC, just south of the 108 off 395. It's about another 90 minutes of jeep trail to get to the top. Mt Patterson is the big bald mountain you are looking at east of the marine base.

    I believe Sonora pass has the 26% grade near the top of the eastern slope. If Sonora pass is open when you are here, there's a pack station at Leavitt Meadows that does horseback trips into the mountains. Rock crawling on horseback takes a little getting used to.

    Sounds like my property (7.5 ac of hills and grass in California). I went with a rfm which I think gives a better looking cut and takes less hp than a flail. Of course I had to first groom my property a little at a time with a box scraper looking for rocks.

    Seems like a three point generator mount would be the correct solution. If you want to keep it on the trailer, why not put some limit chains from the sides of the trailer to the lower three point arms to prevent the trailer from turning too far.

    I got locked inside my 93 wrangler. The mechanism inside the door fel apart and neither the inside button nor the outside key would unlock it. Had to take the inside door panel off to fix it which is a real challenge when the door is locked shut.

    When I did mine I think I used a Kubota relay I got off of eBay. Works perfectly and was much cheaper than the New Holland part from the dealer.

    I have the 6.8 V10 in my current RV (E450). It's a 2019 RV on a 2018 chassis. It tows so much nicer than my previous class C which was built on a Chevy 7.4l. I see the current rvs built on the E450 are coming with the 7.3l engines. Too soon for me to upgrade.

    Same tractor I have. Great little unit. Only issue I've had to deal with since I got mine in 2005 was a glow plug timer that went bad. Other than that, no problems to report. Just mowed a couple of acres with it today.

    I have the TC33DA (hst) and pull a 72" box blade and a 72" RFM without any issues. The TC30 might be a little lite of power for 72" implements and would probably be happier with 60", but if you already have the implements, then run them in moderation and see how it does. Small bites.

    Starting Issue on New Holland 35 hp

    Start with the fuse box. There is a 10amp blade fuse that likes to blow. (Second from the top on my tc33). Then verify the shifter is in neutral, pto(s) are off, parking brake is set. Sometimes I need to wiggle the shifter to find the right spot for the safety switch.

    I'm running a 72" land pride 3 blade rfm. I let my grass grow up to 12-24" before cutting it down to 4". But I'm in the sierra foothills so while the grass can grow tall, it's not very thick or wet.
