You will be glad you stayed with a 6" chipper at that PTO. I usually figure a 6" chipper should get a diet of almost all 4" and under material, occasionally larger. Just to keep everything running smoothly. Ditto with an 8" chipper and maybe 6" material.

I run the chipper at about the lowest infeed speed. Very few feed issues as long as I don't feed "wishbone" style limbs into it. I've been chipping (seasonally) about 5 years and never changed a belt.

I have had trickle chargers/maintainers boil batteries even though they should never do that. So I use a combination of timers and trickle chargers.

Aquatic plants can root and grow within the upper 4 feet of a pond. There is not enough light penetration after 4 feet. Based on what I am reading this pond at this size and depth will be completely overwhelmed by aquatic plants.

Try taking your ground strap off the battery. Clean both ends and if needed wash with a baking soda solution. Then replace. Also if needed shine it up using a wire brush so you have a good connection.
