Your Massey dealer should also be a Fendt dealer since both tractors are owned by AGCO corporation. Just buy a Kubota CVT. It’s not like you are hard core farming.

Funny story. We rented a Gladiator for our off road journey around Moab. We were on this twisty, windy rock strewn road near the big Potash crystal blue lake. Thoughts on 100hp tractor options

The really amazing thing with a CVT is you can be climbing a hill pulling your mower and basically just steer the tractor. Once you set the CVT knob to the ground speed you want, it just goes. You want to slow down? You just pull back the knob. Its a toggle switch drive by wire tractor with 2...

IVT is Deere. AGCO is called a CVT. I have 3 of them. Excellent “died and went to heaven” transmissions. Of course they can break, too. But they’re everything you’d ever want to operate. Case-IH, new Holland and Kubota have them now, too. Thats because you are shifting into another range...

Our buildings in the commercial areas will sit “for lease” for years. Then finally the excavator shows up and tears it down. PA is just another high tax, high regulation blue state. Thoughts on 100hp tractor options

The most important one you forgot is CVT tractors. They never lose power to the wheels. A powershift does, albeit very briefly. If you want stability, buy a heavy tractor and set the rims/tires wide. If you want no shifting on hills, buy a CVT tractor. You’d never go back to any other...

Yeah that’s pretty light. Plus no gooseneck capability. Plus it’s a mess to haul firewood, mulch, sand, or other aggregates. I’d say PU’s outsell vans like 100 to 1? But I DO agree with you many PU owners never use their 4WD or carry anything. It’s like a “anti-geek” symbol.

75% of truck owners tow 1/year or less?

Probably less, littleBill21, (I’m HayDude, not “bud” but all good). I think a lot more people prefer pickups to vans. Most people have good reasons. Vans are harder to find with 4WD, visibility is worse, terrible off road or snow, usually power is lower, limited to bumper towing. But...
