running a gas powered generator without a load will not harm it. there are millions of standby whole house generators that exercise for 5-12 minutes every week with no load on them. running it loaded will help it run hotter and help to burn off any moisture in the oil though.

My portable has a kind of a muffler. More like a sound baffle. I know it hooks onto a pipe with a clamp. Not sure of the duromax. It does muffle the sould compared to if it wasnt there, but ill bet its more of a flame arrester by design.

On some older generators ive had in the past i was able to remove the large “muffler” they provide and simply install a flex pipe on the remaining stub and ran it thru a car muffler to deaden the noise. I did this for 15 years until i installed the whole house generator.

I honestly think your hooking up wires wrong. A basic light either has 1 wire and uses the mounting device for the ground, or has 2 wires, one being a ground and one being the hot. This fixture is just wired weird. A green wire with yellow stripe is universally considered a ground wire.

Check or replace the battery cables. They rot out internally over time. Also, verify all connection points on battery cables ate clean and tight. Use sandpaper if necessary to clean up. Also, if you can twist the battery cables at posts, there not tight enough

Look into Noco chargers. Noco is a huge company dealing with battery charge and maint equipment. Just type noco into amazon. I use them on my trickle chargers and i have their 10 amp genius charger that is amazing at bringing totally dead batteries back to life.

If you have a latching (detent)remote lever, make sure it isnt locked in forward or reverse. If mine gets accidentally locked into detent, the 3 point locks up.

Same here. For over 30 years. You simply choose a spray head with a wider pattern to avoid damage. Ald dont get too close. Power washing a warm engine also does no harm if careful. Heck, people used to steam clean engines. All my engines stay clean looking doing this. I even do the undersides.

I just sold my 1994 dodge cummins for $6000, and it had over 370,000 miles on it. Engine purrs right along. The transmission was the only weak link. Was on a block heater during winter its entire life. That heater was on a wall timer. 2 hours before use it was powered on.

I stick with oem on the tractor filters. First, i dont trust aftermarket junk, and secondly, i want to support my dealer so he stays around. Ill spend $150 any day to prevent a $10,000 tractor split and repair anyday.

i dont mind using the tractor while splitting wood...as im the only one using tractor. when im splitting wood....the tractor has no wheres else to be.

i dont know...i usually pull someone out every year. i have a hook on the front frame, or can use rear drawbar with clevis if i dont have something attached.

I made my own 3 point splitter over 20 years ago. Still works great. Its a 3 point powered off of tractor hydraulics.

Sealed batteries can still gas off some liquids. They still have vent holes. Also, if you accidentally tip over a sealed lead acid battery, it can lose fluid that cant be replaced. Glass mat (agm) batteries arnt as bad at losing any fluids if tipped over, but also have vent holes.

I have this counterweight on my kioti dk45. Supposed to lift 2700# and i did too much lifting and moving without counterweight. I trashed the front bearings et al. 758205,758206,758208

I was given a 10,000# 4 post, and never turn down a gift. But i always wanted a 2 post lift so wheels are free to hang.
