When I was young I was impatient and mowed too fast. Now that I'm older I mow slower and get a much better cut. The Hydrostatic trans is also a big help because I can set the cruise control and then slow whenever the brush get too thick for the current speed. Keeping the blades in good shape...

A hydraulic top link and tilt are a must have IMHO. They are game changers when comes to grading roads or any box scraper work really. I change the tilt angle in change how much the LP digs in too.

I have a MX5200 and a 7 ft flail mower. I believe the flail takes less power, but the tractor cuts the mustard weed even when its 6ft tall and has 1 inch stems too thick to walk through. Maybe a flail mower would be a solution.

Yes, the 12v and 18v tool chargers I use are smart. Pretty much everything newer is smart now.

Not sure the OEM seat is worth $500 :oops: It's not that comfortable. TS has some decent seats for half the price but some modification may be needed. Put one of the $250 TS seats on my old tractor once. It was okay.

My 1/4 stuff is 12v Makita. Very good quality. It came in a set of impact and drill. Bought extra off brand batteries years ago - always one on the charger at the ready. These work great for small stuff. Light and nimble. The 1/2" drive can stretch threads so you gotta be careful hammering stuff...

I bought a PTO quick connect adapter. Should be called an easy connect adapter. Added the 4 inches I needed to compensate for the Quick Hitch on my mower. And it is super easy to connect. Slip it on then turn to align the teeth - pull the spacer and go. I have adapters on both mowers...
