    Now what's broke?

I spent a little time today fixing my giant scale RC ugly stik airplane. I let it sit for 2 yrs while I drug my feet on cataract surgery. Well the fuel line went to hell. So I had to change them all out including the pickup line inside the tank. She's fun when she runs right. 80 inch wing 36 cc...

Ouch, anyone able to explain the cost difference?

We have a couple of places here where you can bring in the bearing you want to replace and they will perfectly match it for pennies on the dollar compared to OEM. When you get it fixed ensure you have a way to grease them and do so often. I have one old mower with bad U joint seals, I grease it...

    Sploosh - blub - dagnammit!

I would tend to leave it be. Check and change the fuel filter often until you are sure it will not dissolve putting particles into the fuel. If the filter shows any contamination then you will have to remove the tank. Or you may just want to remove the tank and the lost part for peace of mind. GL

How much weight is OK in a crossover truck toolbox?

Spread out I've carried upwards of 300 pounds in them. Mostly depends upon 2-3 things 1st the gauge of the metal and the quality of the hinges and latches. 2nd the trucks suspension, stiffer suspension delivers more shock 3rd the roads or terrain where you drive
  124. scootr

I think i want/need a rock bucket or skeleton bucket.

I use a rock bucket. Most of them are 3" spacing. A 3x6 rock will fall through which is not good. I welded 5/8 rebar midspan between the 3" spaced ribs and that bucket held too much dirt. Rock buckets are a good idea but not the perfect solution

Nice thing about the set up you are considering is you can put diesel additives in the tank before you fill and you have the mobility to fuel the tractor wherever you need to. How Many Hours Do You Spend on Your Tractor(s)?

My last tractor got an average of 50 hrs a month over 14 yrs of ranch work. Got a newer Kubota MX5200 last year and put about 250 hrs on it, some hours were hired out for mowing etc. Never had a cab so it sits during the hottest and coldest days.

I think partially it's because the name brand says they are worth more. Like buying a Deere or a Mercedes.
