That's for a "float" position. The valve should work normally if you don't push the lever into the float position. You should feel some resistance before it goes into the float position. To defeat it, just remove the ball and leave the spring. You paid extra for that "feature".

I guess I don't understand what you're asking. You can't just change a spline drive motor to a taper drive setup. And I don't see a splined motor in your picture. So, I'm lost. 🤪 The splined motor is typically used as the rotator not the drive.

I remember seeing a 3PH backhoe. I think it was sold by Northern Tool. I almost bought one. It was QH compatible and self-contained. It used a PTO shaft to drive its own hydraulic pump. I questioned the strength of my QH as I recall and didn't purchase it.

Probably not universal between the (BM6-310, BM6-315) and BM6K-315. Which motor are you replacing? The BM6-310 and 315 look like splined shaft motors. The BM6K-315 looks like a tapered shaft motor with nut. The numbers on the end are the displacement in CC.

The shims are used to make up the difference between the thickness of the blades and hub. There could be variances in the pins too. Clearance should be checked and the need for shims verified each time the blades are removed or replaced. I guess the shim idea alleviates the need for precision...

I used some 3/4" black pipe. Cut it to length the slit it. Opened it up into a U then tack welded them to the bottom lift arms. If they wear out, they're easy to cut the welds and replace. It's soft iron (steel) so they won't wear the pins or my quick hitch.

Just about any of these on Amazon will work if the tractor is 12v. I bought one of the ~$10 ones for my diesel Kenbota and it works fine.

I have an extended reach blow gun that works. It's the same as radiator genie but cheaper. It allows me to reach in and blow the dirt and chaff out from the back side of the radiator.
