For lubrication pretty much anything is better than WD40.

We laid rebar in the bricks on ours. I think 4 pieces. Drilled the back of the 8' hand hewn beam in the correct locations and drove the beam on the rebar that was protruding. It worked perfectly. No mounting devices are showing at all.

A quick hitch that the dealer supplied and sold should not hit the fender. I've never seen a QH hit a fender before and maybe it was the implement and not the QH but if it was it shouldn't happen.

Get something other than WD40 to free it up. I use Kerny Rust Cutter. Some of the best stuff I've ever tried. PB Blaster is good. WD40 to me is useless.

Thanks. The nice thing about these racing terminals is that I have them wired straight to the battery so in the event I need to jump the tractor off I have the terminals there to do it without lifting the hood.

What does everyone do to store and/or winterize their sprayer pumps? Obviously some ammonia or cleaner needs to be used to neutralize but do you spry some type of oil in them or anti-freeze?

That's a sync shuttle transmission. I had one in my 5310. I used B3 and C1 for most everything that I did with it.

I've never pumped out engine oil but we pump out transmission fluid all the time in pickups and cars. You would be surprised how much you can get out. Of course you can't do that with a split pan tractor.

Your tanks, I would imagine you can configure them the way you want unless the fuel company that's servicing them has rules or issues with your setup. I know they wouldn't connect my LP tank back up when I renovated unless it was moved at least 10' away from my garage.

Burning stumps is easy. I use a 1/2" auger it and drill several holes in the stump as far as I can, pour diesel fuel in the holes a couple of times, let it soak a few days and burn it.

There is a speed sensor on the PTO shaft that is probably intermittent. Or maybe a wiring problem going to the speed pickup. My 5090 has done the same thing since it was new.

When I built mine I used a piece of 3" x1/4" angle as a mount for the cutting edge so my blade angle ended up at 45 degrees. It works flawlessly. I'm not sure it really matters anyway.

I guess I grew up running tractors before loaders were a thing. To this day a tractor to me still feels awkward with a loader on it. I use it when I need it which is quite a bit but when I don't need it I don't want it on my tractor.

That tractor guard is one of the first things that gets removed on a new tractor for me. I can't deal with them. I have 3 brand new ones in my shop.

It comes standard on any JD that has electronic lift controls. That doesn't happen until the M models. It's no big deal with a quick hitch but the two implements that I have that are not modified to fit my hitch are a real pita to hook up without that rear lift control.

Do you have an implement on it now? If not it may not go down without some down pressure. You could also check the rate of drop adjustment and see if it is closed off too much.

Any ZD above a ZD1211 will have DPF. My 1211 doesn't. A member on here, Browndog has 2 ZD1511s that do and I don't think he has had any issues with them. I too am in the camp that these add ons don't scare me. I have a JD 5090 with it.

What are you pulling on the trailer? That's a 60 HP tractor that weighs 3700 pounds. If the trailer has brakes, connect them up. If the tractor won't pull that trailer you probably need to get a new tractor.

If that's a 100 HP tractor I would think you can do pretty much anything with it you need to other than maybe moving rocks. I would get me a good size box blade and go to work. It won't be as fast but it will be affective.
