Thanks for the reply’s. I will try to get the seal and get to work. Usually projects like these tend to not go as planned but so far, working on this little tractor hasn’t been too hard.

New to this forum and new to John Deere so go easy on me :). I have a 1997 855 4x4 and have everything working good except this leak on the shaft coming out of the trans. I feel that it is just the outer seal but I don’t really know. Any thoughts on what is causing the leak and more importantly...
