If the front axle is like on my GC 1725 MB ... It has "vents" on top of each side of the axle which needs to be opened to "bleed" off any air trapped so the oil can flow over to that side, let it sit 30+ minutes and check level again ... Vent is circled, arrow is fill, which is only on one side...

I did a little rototilling this morning after I cut the grass on it ... The area is small, probably only 35' square, I tilled it in both directions ... I did have a little grass wound on the ends, not the times, but less than 30 seconds of pulling it with my fingers, cleaned it out!
