    Log splitter for NH 1725

I've been wrestling with the decision to buy a 3PT splitter for my New Holland 1725, 1998 model year I believe, 4WD, manual 9 X 3 transmission with no rear hydraulics. I recently used a splitter on a mid 1980's Ford 1720 (with no PTO pump) and I was satisfied with the ram speed. ASSuming my...

    Blinker switch

You know the push switch to activate the blinkers on the left rear light of Boomers? I dropped a small tree on mine and broke it. After taking everything apart I found there must be a small spring in the switch that is now lost. The assembley looks similar to a ball point pen's guts...

    Tree-getter

    Keyed P.T.O.

Where I have my 3pt blower stored for the summer is under cover, however the end of the P.T.O. shaft is hanging out from under the roof. I figured an easy fix would be to just remove it from the blower. I removed what I'm assuming is a shear bolt, loosed the set screw and it wouldn't budge...

    Rotary decisions

Ok. I've searched and read MANY posts on rotary cutters over the past few weeks. Although I now know more than I ever did about these machines, I'm still as much in the dark as ever. The only thing I've decided on is size, 5' for a NH 1725 (29 HP). I think it's coming down to the mighty $...
