I use solid tires from HF on my one wheelbarrow. It is rarely used and during the summer just holds my pool cover. For everything else I use a gorilla cart and can hook it to my lawn tractor or scut to drag around tools or just pick up sticks. That has air filled tires and is about 7 years olds...

They have pretty big fires in the NJ pine barrens every year or two. Sometimes from people not knowing better, but most often from military training ordnance. Don't think they get permits to fire weapons or drop fuel in the wrong place.....

People are not very good at figuring out when to burn. Look at Colorado and Oregon last year. Dry, windy, and people are still dumb enough to light fires that got out of control.

Wild Strawberry, used to use them to make pie, otherwise blandish fibery strawberry taste. When we were kids the parents would have us pick bowls of them to make pie. Other than that, we now just leave them for the wildlife.

Pool salt is mostly pure salt. Softener salt has lots of minerals.

When shopping for my 620p the Husky was about 50% more and the Stihl was about double for the same class. So the Echo was a no brainer and it has run great can done a lot of work for me and it well balanced in the cut. A bit heavy to do walk about so I usually cart or tractor it to where I need it.

I have this one and used it quite a bit on larger saplings. It worked well and was easy to sharpen. Mediocre on anything that had grass around it or vines. The one I liked the least was the scratch blade, That one likes to big down in the soft wood.

I had to show my son how to get the pole saw unstuck with two people, one to pull the branch sideways :) I also will sometimes take the fiskars pole saw with me, just in case. Nothing like getting two pole saws stuck :cool:

I tried one of those, after about 15 min I threw it out. The blackberry vines and autumn olive saplings would slow that down too much to be useful. I have a pretty tight mix of tall grass and saplings, and have seen these work great for others, but not here.

I found I wore out these type of blades too quick and spent a lot of time sharpening them. I get a lot of hours out of the carbide ones, and hit rocks and hard woods and some of the teeth might chip, but the blades still work pretty good. I use a renegade blade on my Stihl FS110 handlebar brushcutter. The autumn olive shoots laugh at the .095 string. This blade also does a decent job on long grasses, where most saw type blades fail.
