Looking at Bad Boy Tractors, thoughts?

Seems like it's easy to start a new line/brand. And equally hard to have longevity. If buying a new brand of window cleaner I don't much care. Little different in regards to a major investment long term asset.

What creates "bad diesel" fuel ?

Yep. Good friend of mine has an old Dump Truck the same way. I can hang around friends who have a Cold and not get it either. But some day I will if I put myself in that position enough times. So I'm conscious of how I handle and treat my fuel. I've never had algae issues. Gelled once.

What creates "bad diesel" fuel ?

I've never had a problem either. When parking my tractors for any length of time I top off the tank to reduce condensation caused by our large temp swings here. My Brother got algae in his storage tank several years ago. It was horrific. Contaminated all of his equipment before he admitted...

What creates "bad diesel" fuel ?

I don't relate fuel problems with the specific age of the fuel. I relate it to contamination during storage, hauling, transfer. Imagine an above ground storage tank that's half full or near empty. Imagine it sits that way for long periods of time. Right now our air temp is 10F, bright...

What creates "bad diesel" fuel ?

I contribute your issue, as well as the others posted, to old fuel, caused by limited sales at the vendor. Let's not "cloud" (pun intended) this issue with red fuel versus clear fuel. This problem could be found in either. I use the same vendor 99% of the time. Most of the local farmers use...

Small tracts of land around here (50-100 acres) are being bought up by city people to hunt on. We also have a considerable amount of foreign money being invested in our County. A good point. Problem is the top link adjustment probably won't change the pitch enough. Using a modern grader I'd roll the blade all the way forward which would cause the cutting edge to be trailing rather than leading. That would let it slide over the rocks etc., and fill the low spots...
