I’ve had a few looked at by a local pump place. Every time there was a small part they couldn’t get.

The little yellow 6000lb plow showed up on a big rig and we ain’t got no ramps. It works and cuts in a nice pipe with minimal damage. The extra coming out of the ground is to bore under the road and a drain pipe to the ped, so a cut and coupler isn’t needed.

It’s here and about to get to work.

The rocks don’t slow the plow down but they do add restoration time. If I don’t pull rocks out of the ground you can’t even tell I’ve been there. So far digging and plowing through rocks is much easier than hard clay in the summer.

It is oil lubricated and water cooled lack of oil is going to kill the motor before the turbo. Most dead turbos I see are from boost leaks causing over spinning from trying to reach a psi it’ll never get to because of the intake leak.

When the key is on(engine not running) the little electric fuel pump should be clicking. If you can’t hear you should be able to feel it with your hand.

It wasn’t a question of if it would be used it was a question of, can I use it properly. Once I saw the caps that basically turned the barrel into a grease gun for filling tubes it was on. When both excavators, the plow and the drill are running a decent amount of grease is used each week.

I very rarely find tape(almost never) and I put in more locates than average. On average I call in a mile of tickets every week or two. Only one city had tape famd for sewer only.

You should hand locate the line before worrying about anything else.

I bought a br800x last week. Happy with it so far. It replaced a redmax brz7500. I use it to blow off trails at home and pine straw in the plow path at work. It's amazing how 1 inch of pine straw builds up and pushes a plow with 20kftlbs of vibroforce up and out of the ground!
