Yep, what he said.... Most tractors have a circular knob under the seat that you turn to slow it down or speed it up. My dealer told me never to close it off completely because apparently with Yanmar it can cause seals to blow. No reason I would ever do that anyways.

No doubt this is true, but they are not charging JD prices for them either. To know some tractors are built more by that manufacture is absolutely possible depending what tractor you are buying. Does that mean 100% of that tractor was built by the brand, probably never true.

It is my experience with a used tractor you can buy it and use it for 5 years around a 5 acre property and if maintained and stored indoors and you don't put crazy hours on it you can sell it for the same or perhaps more money 5 years later. I have done this a couple times.

I think the larger your tractor the more you will use a bucket level indicator. I too can see my bucket from all of my tractors, however, it is not always easy to perceive if the bucket is level even seeing it. The indicator takes the guesswork out of it. I have one tractor that does not have it...
