True. I skipped college and plan to retire from my chosen career at 48. I'll continue to work in a field with less responsibility and stress however. College would have never given the ROI this career did, I've been tremendously blessed. I've loved this journey and will never forget the...

The Dreaded Homeowners Insurance Bill has Arrived

Some good news, is weaker jobs numbers. This is a predictable side effect of higher rates to lower inflation. Seeing that number, at least in part, means a rate cut is more possible later this year. There is no painless way out of an inflationary cycle due to spilling trillions into the...

    Odd sprinkler behavior (well issue?)

Is the hose bib on your home? You likely have a pressure tank. It's not uncommon as the pressure is bled off through long use, the pressure drops until the pump turns on again. When it does, pressure increases again. The larger the pressure tank, the longer the interval. We have an 80...

Recommendations/Warnings - Cub Cadet ZTXS5 Series ZT Mowers

Never used a steering wheel. But my lap bar unit has the parking brake integrated into the lap bar, which is nice. Also, never had a problem holding a hill like some have claimed, with my traditional ZTR. I actually find the lap bar nice, because Im never reaching forward to a wheel, my arms...

Yes, each battery had it's own gauge. Regardless of what's wrong, it's useless and $200 to replace. Much more difficult to troubleshoot and repair than gas. It's really a disposable tool

Yeah, I use the surface cleaner that they sell specially for the unit.
  124. CloverKnollFarms

    Recommend A Pressure Washer?

My Greenworks is 2gpm, and the surface cleaner works very well on our concrete sidewalks and patio. Not sure it's reaching 3000psi at that flow, but it does a heck of a good job

    Setting Fence Posts Issue

Posts rot at the surface, because this is where oxygen and light can work with moisture for decay. Posts are always wet underground. The top several inches of the hole are the issue.

Well… I bought a GreenWorks Pro package 4 years ago. Home use, light use. This week one of the 80v batteries decided after it runs for about 20 seconds, it will cut out. Wait 30 seconds, it will run for another 20 seconds, and cut out. Fully charged. When it cuts out, none of the battery...

    Need advice on mowing slopes

I’d choose ZTR. A NICE wide stance, lower CG, and wide tires. Also, Id consider not mowing areas that are VERY steep. Issue with electric mowers is their light weight, which will actually hurt its ability to hold a hill.
