    Grillo and BCS

I learned of the advantages of Grillo by reading the BCS/Grillo comparison page on EarthTools. I only mow 1/2 an acre once per year so upgrading to a 3 speed tractor is not worth it.

    Grillo and BCS

Thanks for your reply. I have indeed been on the lookout for a 732. However I ran across a Grillo 85d tractor and learned about its equivalence to and some advantages over the 732.

    Grillo and BCS

Yes, thank you, I did go there first. The website info seems contradictory. It appears that they sell a specific adapter for snowblowers but when I called the guy I talked to was unfamiliar with the issue and suggest I call back later.

    Grillo and BCS

I have a BCS 730 with 8hp kohler magnum and older spline shaft sickle bar and snowblower which I use with an adapter. I am looking to buy a Grillo 85d which I want for its 10hp kohler command pro and locking differential. I want to confirm that I can use the BCS sickle mower as is on the...

    BCS Snowblower

Thanks for responding. My tractor has ag tires as well. When you say that yours are reversed, is that simply because the handlebars are rotated for using the snowblower or because you physically take them off and reverse them?

    BCS Snowblower

We just got a foot of heavy wet snow here in Western MA. My BCS snowblower could blow whatever snow it encountered but it kept getting hung up because it has no traction. The machine just sits there and spins its wheels unless shove it forward or wiggle it side to side. The amount of effort...

    Simplicity Sunstar hydro linkage

I知 looking for help with my Sunstar. The hydro hand control lever has some sort of spring that keeps it tight against the neutral safety switch. The spring is broken and the lever wanders off of the switch which kills the engine if you are standing off the tractor. I want to replace the spring...

    John Deere 140 steering brakes

I have an older JD 140 which I assume is a 68 model since it has the 12 horsepower motor and lacks independent steering brakes. I'm curious if anybody has converted one of those to have independent rear brakes. Would doing that be sacrilegious? does a 1968 140 have any special value compared...

    Garden Tractor Locking Differential

Hi Folks, I'm interested in buying a used garden tractor (possibly a John Deere) for mowing my lawn and hauling large carts of firewood. Traction is the biggest issue I encounter because I have to be able to drive up and down small slopes. My current lawn tractor will just spin its tires when...
