Branson Alterative. and I'm I going over Board?

You would be absolutely correct in buying the larger Kioti, I have never known anyone to say they wish their tractor was smaller. Kioti makes an awesome tractor that will give you many years of service.

    Need Advice

Buy the 4700 series Massey, if it's the 4707 (70hp) that you won't go for it. You won't be sorry, in my opinion they are the most tractor for the money right now.

    Ugh!! Water Well contractors...

Kioti backhoe Subframe and Housing Cracks

Thanks for sharing this info, I retrofitted the subframe that was on my Mahindra to fit the Kioti. It stays on the tractor and the Bradco 509 backhoe fits into the subframe notches (like a frontend loader hookup) whenever hooking up. I often look everything over to ensure things are still stable.

    Cracked steering wheel

Within the first couple of years of owning my RX the steering wheel developed a crack, it was replaced under warranty. Just to update: Was able to get everything welded up and finished putting loader back on the tractor yesterday. Me too Richard, I'm thinking positive. I was able to finish the fab on the cylinder mounting plates and tack weld them in place in order to connect everything up and see how the geometry works out. Hopefully Monday if all goes well, I can do an empty bucket dry run. 🤞🤞🤞

  84. B

    Resolving self leveling dislike

Airbiscuit, forgot to mention that while the cylinder length is actually shorter the actual ram extension is longer by about 6 inches. Most or at least half of the dump/curl function on a self-leveling loader is done by the mechanical movement of the triangular brackets pushed by the raising or...

    Resolving self leveling dislike

    Resolving self leveling dislike

Holycow, I'm glad you like your loader on the DK90, maybe it suits your needs but probably would not be satisfactory for my needs. Resolving self leveling dislike

Started fabricating the parts to mount the new cylinders, the cylinders are 2 1/2" bore X 20" stroke with a 1 1/2" ram, this should allow me to stay within the 80% stroke rule for the cylinders. Resolving self leveling dislike

I have a set of pallet forks that I probably use a couple times a year so to me it's no big deal using the curl function to keep the pallet level. We use the pallet fork on my buddy's McCormick with a non-self-leveling loader and it works just fine.

Your pic of the RX6010 is accurate to what mine is, as I noted earlier you do not need that much dump angle, remember the law of gravity. Also to answer Xfaxman, modifying the bale spear won't keep dirt or gravel from falling out of the bucket. One of the problems with the self-loader is the...

    Resolving self leveling dislike

No, the pivot pin is in the same place as a non-self-level, I use a hay spear for round bales, and they still want to come off. The bucket angle on my self-leveler when at full height is 90 degrees which is way more than needed. I checked a non-self-leveling bucket at full height, it was 50...

  105. B

    Resolving self leveling dislike

Thanks for the paint suggestions, the main reason I do not like the self-leveling loader is due to the very limited roll back. If you are moving round bales of hay on sloped land and traveling down the slope the bales will fall off due to a very limited roll back. Another reason is whenever you...

    Possible DEF shortages

First I've heard of this one, well no problem I don't use it until the weather gets warm. That's when I start across country pulling the fifth wheel RV.

12'h x 16' w Roll up door vs panel door

Looks like a lot of opinions as you probably expected, go with what you think and live with it. Both are good doors and both have their pros and cons

SAE 30 or 10W-30 for older IH FARMALL

High zinc content is a must, you can also buy zinc additive from Autozone or one of the others.

Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Our Harbor Freight store is usually fairly busy every time I go in there; I was looking at their large tool chests and they do look impressive for the money. I currently use Vidmar cabinets for my tool boxes and they also work great, high quality rollers on the drawers help with the heavy tools.

12'h x 16' w Roll up door vs panel door

I have panel doors on one of my buildings and drum roll up doors on another, in my opinion the roll up drum doors are the winner hands down. They are easy to operate, don't require room for opening, they do not cover up any light fixtures when they're open and I also like the fact that you can...

Excellent info, mine is the same as yours except it's blue. Thanks for the torque specs I was going to do the same thing, I sometimes get into some bolts that my 1/2" craftsman just won't break loose. It was originally $169 on sale for $149.

Breaking new ground. What a PITA.

When you think about it a lot of the old ways has been lost, our grandfathers and our fathers had it hard and everything they did was done by a hard way. I learned so much working with my dad and watching how he was able to achieve what almost always seemed impossible. I don't ever remember him...
