    Propane weed burner

Moved from Texas to Illinois, and now have a 7-8 acre pond. Really like it, good fishing to. BUT.....prefer not spraying chemicals on weeds at pond edge. Thinking of ideas how to go about maintaining it, and thought of a propane weed burner. Has anyone used for this? How did it work?

    Drainage problem

I'm no longer in Trinity, TX...made the move to Creal Springs, IL. Now, I just need to recover from the move. The grass is soooooo green and lush here compared to the drought areas in Texas. Really different to mow, and not contend with dust. One thing I need to do with this new place is fix...

The manual says either one. I have UDT for tractors etc, but not SUDT which I know is more expensive. Does either work ok, or is this hst happier with SUDT? What is everyone else using?

This will be a very sad year

I retired a couple of years ago, in great anticipation of what's ahead in retirement. We intended to sell our house near Tomball, TX, and build on my small acreage near Trinity, TX. Over the last couple of years, the economy went bust, our daughter had a divorce, loosing my son-in-laws help...

    Thanks HCJ

Based upon your posts on this forum, and the PM exchange we had, I ended up buying a Markum grapple exactly like yours. My tractor is an M7040 so it is basically the same tractor as well. My use matches the way you use the grapple a great deal, in particular rooting out trees. You do put some...

Oil & Fuel  Kubota M series front axle and differential oil change

I am a little overdue in changing the fluid for both of these, but one of the reasons, every time I look at it, I知 confused as to how these interrelate. The drain plug for both the differential and the axle gear appear to be the same drain plug. So if you change oil on one, you change both...

    Need an idea

All you build it yourself guys?.I inherited some thin wall pipe. What can I build/do with the larger pipes in this picture. I have already banded three together and made a culvert out of them, but being thin wall, 5 inches in diameter, just not sure what project would work. They are 14 foot...

    7ft rotary mower

I need to buy one, but the $2600 price tag on a Rhino 184 gave me pause. Although after doing some price checking, it may not be that far off of what you need to pay to get a quality one. How much will I have to pay to get a quality one? And brand, Rhino, Brushhog, Landpride, others?

Security & Theft  Securing tractor from theft

I have a small ranch with no infrastructure 70 miles from my resident. I get there every week, 2-3 days at a time. I have a large 120hp tractor there, and stealing it...they would need to work at it. But, I'm fixing to buy a 50-70hp tractor, and will at times have to leave out there. How...

    5500 v/s 5530

I've done a compare on Mahindra website, and I can't really see the difference. Can someone explain? It does appear their 5x20 series has a larger motor and heavier hydralics.

    5xx3 v/s 5x25 series

What are the differences. Are they simply moving the 5x25 series out? Their web site seems to slant the information ther to the 5xx3 series. To further compound it their 6030 series overlaps into both of these.

    AWS problem on JD 425

I've started to notice a bit of jerking with the steering in full lock either left or right, coming from the rear. Slowly been getting worse, and took the time today to look into it. After getting it up on blocks and working the steering, it appears the inner rear wheel has a looseness to it...
