    Soldering Plastic

Not much to show but I took some shots for you. I just wanted to fix the crack so I did not grind it smooth or anything but he told me you can work it out if need be like they do on bumper covers. I pushed hard on it and it seems to be as strong as new. Far as I can tell. This old Gator CX is...

    Soldering Plastic

Had a chance to do something new today. I pitched a large log into the back of the Gator CX when it was below O and cracked the plastic bed. So I went into town to the body shop and asked what kind of glue they use on car bumper covers because this plastic looks to be the same or very close...

    Good morning!!!!

I got good news from our LP & fuel supplier. They said they would deliver 55 gallons if I just wanted to fill a 55 gallon drum with a hand pump. So I think I will look around for about a 100 gallon elevated gravity flow.

So far the wind is screaming and it looks...

buckeye, I am seeing that now that Drew has me looking. I e-mailed my LP supplier today to see what the min gallon purchase on off road diesel is and asked them about tank set ups. Maybe they got a small used one. They do farm fuel and lube products to. Guess I will see. Sure would be better...

    Good morning!!!!

  13. mkr7734

    Good morning!!!!

Drew. I like that tank set up. How much did you say you have invested in it? Did you have it filled with off road real diesel? Well the bucket/grapple is off and the snow plow is back on and we shall see what happens tomorrow on the weather.
  14. mkr7734

    Good morning!!!!

32 going to 46 cloudy. Depending on who you listen to rain or snow tomorrow? Guess I will put the snow plow back on JIC. The Frost is rising and the place is a mess of mud and the deer tracks are deep and all over in the grass I had better get some grass seed and let them set it for me...
  15. mkr7734

    Good morning!!!!

Your right, I raised it up today and filled the bucket with CA6 to fill some pot holes in the lane and it does not interfere with normal bucket functions. But if I want it off I have two choices. pull three pins, two QC and remove the clamp or pull four bolts, two QC and remove it all.
  16. mkr7734

    Good morning!!!!

Here it is murphy, You are kind of tied to the geometry of the clamp as to what you get at full stroke and closed and this is where it ended up.
  17. mkr7734

    Good morning!!!!

Thanks Rick, I may of had the settings wrong. I don't do to much You Tube. Sorry murphy
  18. mkr7734

    Artillian Grapple

rtjt, Looks nice. You could of just got a SSQA plate and put it on your bucket for less than a new bucket I think. Good morning!!!!

Yes it is a little more money, as for the narrow hallway that is why I like the pistol grip stock on the JIC8 But I think your right that it has a 20" not a 18.5" barrel on the 8 shot. They make a 6 shot JIC list at $399. Mossberg JIC Cruiser Shotgun-416662 - Gander Mountain Boy oh boy the wind...

How much does that log weigh?

I to believe you should dry your wood. Years ago we heated with a wood stove and green wood just puts you and your house at risk. Even today with our new place that we only have a heatilator fireplace in I still cure our wood. I fill one side of our shed this year and burn it next year then do...

  61. mkr7734

    Good morning!!!!

Well looking at the PICTURE I don't see how you could heat the center of it and not do center of the wheel plastic damage but there ain't much plastic left to worry about anywhere else on the wheel,,,, So yeah heat is always a option. Guess it is up to the owner to decide risk of application.
  62. mkr7734

    Good morning!!!!

Those two pullers look pretty much like the options out there. The steering wheel puller would need threaded holes next to the shaft connected to the steering wheel it is on. The other option needs something with some beef to grab on the outside to pull it off. Your wheel does not seem to have...
  63. mkr7734

    Good morning!!!!

The reason I suggested the impact method is because I don't see any bolt holes on that wheel for a regular steering wheel puller to be used on that wheel so you will need to fab a plate under the wheel to pull it off of and then you may be to far outbound from center for your run of the mill...
  64. mkr7734

    Good morning!!!!

Yes, PB Blaster or WD-40. Any of them would work. Just soak it over time. I had an early 60s Cub and if I recall it is a tapered shaft fit. I could be wrong been so long since I did that one. That cub looks to be in the 70s range.
  65. mkr7734

    Good morning!!!!

If it was Me,,,,,,, I would start soaking it with WD-40 for many days. It looks to be in sad shape but you want to save what you have. So be sure to put the nut back on flush with the top of the shaft and get someone to pull up on the wheel when you gave the nut and shaft a hit. It should pop...
