I got good news from our LP & fuel supplier. They said they would deliver 55 gallons if I just wanted to fill a 55 gallon drum with a hand pump. So I think I will look around for about a 100 gallon elevated gravity flow.

Your right, I raised it up today and filled the bucket with CA6 to fill some pot holes in the lane and it does not interfere with normal bucket functions. But if I want it off I have two choices. pull three pins, two QC and remove the clamp or pull four bolts, two QC and remove it all.

Here it is murphy, You are kind of tied to the geometry of the clamp as to what you get at full stroke and closed and this is where it ended up.

Well looking at the PICTURE I don't see how you could heat the center of it and not do center of the wheel plastic damage but there ain't much plastic left to worry about anywhere else on the wheel,,,, So yeah heat is always a option. Guess it is up to the owner to decide risk of application.

Those two pullers look pretty much like the options out there. The steering wheel puller would need threaded holes next to the shaft connected to the steering wheel it is on. The other option needs something with some beef to grab on the outside to pull it off. Your wheel does not seem to have...

The reason I suggested the impact method is because I don't see any bolt holes on that wheel for a regular steering wheel puller to be used on that wheel so you will need to fab a plate under the wheel to pull it off of and then you may be to far outbound from center for your run of the mill...

Yes, PB Blaster or WD-40. Any of them would work. Just soak it over time. I had an early 60s Cub and if I recall it is a tapered shaft fit. I could be wrong been so long since I did that one. That cub looks to be in the 70s range.

If it was Me,,,,,,, I would start soaking it with WD-40 for many days. It looks to be in sad shape but you want to save what you have. So be sure to put the nut back on flush with the top of the shaft and get someone to pull up on the wheel when you gave the nut and shaft a hit. It should pop...
