    JD 4610 throttle

Rusty, your 4610 should have a steering gear cover held on with 3 or 4 screws. The cover is a "U" shaped piece of sheet metal like that pictured #6 . Tightening nut #7 should get it tighter. If the friction disc #4 has oil on it, it will have to be replaced.

    445a ford 4wd gear

Max, here is the progression of substitutions that I described when plugging the E3NN7Z115AC (32 tooth for 8X2) into Partspring website. I have not inquired if that gear is actually available, but it looks to be so. Also, the bushings come with the gear. Also, look at Joseph Industries...

NH 345D Wont go into gear

Archetech, the transmission ECU is fed power through a 5 amp fuse #21 (etched on fuse box or see diagram in op. manual) in the fuse box behind the battery. The supply goes to the clutch button on the LH floorboard which interrupts power to the transmission ECU. As Spicer said, possible loose...

1981 International 284 Diesel FWD - Need Front Drive Shaft and Coupler

Not sure where to look other than a Case IH or New Holland dealer, but you might take a look at SBA322610070 coupler, 13 spline, used on Ford New Holland compacts. Are the splines worn out on the shaft?

    7000 ford sterring problems

Diamond, just to make sure, you have the style with the steering column I sent earlier because there is an earlier version with the power assist cylinder in the nose. This is the up of the steering column. It is rebuildable. #2 is the piston with #4 as the seal ring. . Shoot your email and I...

Ford 4000 SelectOspeed Gas 1963 4 Cyl. Help

It sounds like the camshaft (29) in the transmission and/or the valves it actuates are stuck. Maybe have some water in the oil or condensation that seized them after all these years? There is a procedure for removing the shift cover if you are not familiar with it and by all means, don't...

Diamond, is it a 7100, straddle mount of transmission seating or 7200, flat deck over the transmission seating. The first diagram is the column on a 7100. It is a power assist steering box. The next diagram is of a 7200 steering system, hydrostatic steering system. . It utilizes a steering...

how do you bleed a ford 1500 diesel

Open the bleed screw on the filter, 22A, until the air is purged. Tighten screw. Open bleed screw on injection pump, #2, until air is purged. Try starting with throttle above half open. If it fails to start, crack open the injection line nuts one to two turns. Crank engine over with throttle...

    JD 4320 front axle seals

FG, not difficult at all. Remove the wheel, remove the cover plate #24 over a drainpan. Once off, remove snapring #16 and push the axle shaft out of the cover. Replace seal #22 and assemble back together. Top off with oil. Good luck.

    Ford 1910 possible driveshaft problem

The driveshaft coupler #24/SBA322610070 splines are probably worn through on one of two couplers on the 4wd driveshaft. It runs about $50. To access, remove the 4 bolts on cover #17 and slide back to access the coupler. There is a snap ring that holds the coupler in place. Undo the snap ring...

    3-Point Hitch 545D 3-pt and Remotes

Two top plates? The manifold sandwiches between the top cover and the factory hydraulic cover plate, so yes if that's what you mean. Just another look, the 545D and the 4630 are basically the same. Here is the same block (#3) from Ford New Holland, used to add a second pump for loader...

    3-Point Hitch 545D 3-pt and Remotes

Also, I just re-read your post about the 3 point problem. The draft (inner lever) should be at minimum or down. The position control (outer lever) should operate as intended throughout the travel. The 545D has a quadrant tower extension. Sometimes the linkage gets pushed around so that lower...

Ford 3910....no fuel at injectors. Please help!

It's that end, but the head is ahead of the primer. The primer is at the very back. #1 is the cover, 14 the vanes. Also, inlet filter in that cover, but not likely the problem.

Ford 4610 SU power steering leak

I remember the setup on the sector of this unit that you are talking about. In the attached diagram, I believe the oring #53, is the item that is leaking. The other problem on this setup are the seals, 15 & 15b that can cause leakage at the top, but not in the way that you describe. When...

    Loader 7209

Yes, it will circulate the oil. On the tractor side, it is important. On the loader side, it will keep the couplers out of the weather. You have this set-up and the in and out hoses go into a cover in front if the seat:

    Loader 7209

Jerber, if you haven't gotten the loader off yet, here is the procedure. 1. Lower loader on a flat, level surface with the bucket flat. 2. Ford 1720 neutral switch

Tn 75s loader joystick cables sticky

    MF 35 power steering

You are right that when it becomes difficult the power 'assist' steering is not working. Did this happen all of a sudden or has it been gradual. In either case, the problem is most likely the pump. The key could have broken on the shaft or a seal blew in the pump. Latter not as likely.

shifting problem on a 1986 Ford 1910 tractor

First, it sounds like you have a standard shift, non-synchro, with both sticks on the cover. Are the shift levers loose and spin or are they both jumping out of gear. If they are spinning in the socket, slide the boots up and take a look at the pin on the sticks and the cover itself for wear...

    Backhoe Ford 4500 Backhoe ID

Loopman, 19-454 is the 'true' model number for the backhoe of the 755 series backhoe attachments (not to be confused with the 755/A/B tractor loader backhoe). And yes, it does have a swing motor on a side-shift frame, not a center pivot with swing cylinders. You can use 19-454 in the online New...

    Cylinder repair Ford backhoe

Last question first. The model of the backhoe should be on a metal plate on the LH side, looking forward, of the tower frame. It will be a 19-... number to indicate exactly what size it is and what extras are on it. The 'basic' model, however, is a 755 series. This is the number to get you to...

    Clutch problem - please help!

The culprit is the hydraulic portion of the clutch. The reservoir you found is for the clutch and uses Dot 3 brake fluid, like many cars. The adjustment you made on the clutch needs to be put back where it was. Fill the reservoir with fluid and bleed the system. If the clutch goes out of...

    Fuel pump timing newholland tn75

Okay, here is the procedure for a TN75F, same tractor, but for vineyard. The reference marks on the pump must be aligned and the timing gear must be lined up correctly. Hopefully you took the pump off this way. The TN75 is timed at 9 deg. before tdc as seen through the flywheel window. Look at...

    SD1500 fuel system bleed

I think the bleed is the screw to the left if it is similar to the Ford. You can tell which is the bleed screw on the filter as it is the shorter one. If you loosen the mount screw, of course, the filter will loosen up. On the pump, it is the screw #8 in the in block style pump and it is...

    Leaking Seal on TN55

I haven't done any for awhile, but just had one start leaking. 2004 TN95FA w/6000 hrs. Very rusty. The bushing on the outside and the lower link rusted severely. After several hours and no torch to break it loose, they are both replaced. Attached is a picture of the side that was rusted...

    toe in on tractor
