OP, in my recent shop build for wood working the electrician ran a 200a service. Panel has like 40 spots in it. All of the 240v tools have their own circuit to run on. One circuit may have 3 outlets on it. But no multiple tools running at the same time. Dust collector on its own circuit...

A little late, but to prevent water from freezing when we leave in the winter, we have antifreeze in our outdoor boiler system. We can let the fire go out when travelling and shut the pumps off and have the indoor propane boiler heat the house, and not waste propane on keeping the outside water...

Brother had a semi trailer lowboy with dips like OP's. The lowboy was set up for a piece logging equipment that needed its front wheels in those dips to be road height legal. Maybe that's what the OP's trailer did in a previous life. Then someone no longer needed them and filled them in. Jon

I started out with the S10 extended cab/jump seats. Seat was not even big enough for a preteen. Snow wasn''t much problem, 4wd helped. Then moved to a 2007 Tundra double cab with 8ft bed. Both had a fiberglass topper on them. Sold the 2007 when i found a 2018 Tundra with the 8ft bed. Again...

What if you went with that 10ft box for now. Don't shorten frame, just mount box at back of frame leaving 2 extra feet at cab. Keep looking for 12ft box. If/when comes available, buy it and install it on your 12ft frame. Just move hoist ram accordingly to fit 12ft box. Just my dumb...
