Welding a Reese tube to a box blade

i did this to my BB so I could move small trailers & wood splitter around my place. Probably way overkill, but I like to weld.

    Looking for a log splitter

I purchased this at my local Wilco Farm store on sale, 3 months ago. I‘ve had to remove quite a lot of alder, they were getting dangerous, & falling over the fences In storms. I’ve split 10 cord with it so far, will cut another 6 next spring. i’ve been very pleased with it so far, & will get...

    Finally found a box blade.

Fishplate on outside is 1/4”. Although it probably didn’t need it, I thought it looked good. Inside is just welded. I purchased the receiver tube at harbor freight.

    Parking brake indicator

2 things I’ve been gonna install on my B7500 For years. A parking brake indicator (which I still haven’t done), it’s a wonder the brakes still work good as many times as i’’ve forgotten. The Echo back-up alarm switch is for that. The other is an old Caterpillar battery disconnect I located...

    death of regular cab pickups

My old U.S. Forest Service Dodge is kind of an end of an era. I think the USFS fire trucks are still green. All other vehicles have been white for some time. Do pickups still have a 4spd. option or manual shift into 2 or 4wd/hi-low range? Not to mention locking hubs on front axles? Most folks...

48" PTO Rotary Tiller General Oil Level question

I think oosik is right. If you unscrew that center nut it may have a dipstick on it. The photo on right is the fill plug (with a breather hole & dipstick) on my Agric tiller. If yours has no dipstick or level plug hole, use a wire or some such, fill 3“ to 3-1/2” above bottom. My old Land Pride...

I have a couple questions, I hope you won’t mind if I PM you. I promise not to be a pest :) I used to be a member here but haven’t posted for so long I had...
