The Stumper 220 works very well ! It is high torque, low speed so it doesn't throw chips all over the place.

Do you have a hip belt like the backpackers use on it ? I added one to my Echo's , makes a huge difference. Then I added a chest strap to hold the straps together so the don't pull off the shoulders. That and a JRCO blower buggy on the zero turn with a 12hp Skag blower !

Ropes and vines are a huge danger. Sent a steel wire winch rope through a chipper once , didn't end well but no injuries. Had a guy trying to stuff a log through the feed rollers with his foot, he should have known better but got away with it .

What a shame, predictable,preventable. To easy to become complacent. I saw some absolutely dumbfounding situations years ago when working for a high end tree service. Each time they get away with a potentially live threatening move they become emboldened to continue with such unsafe practices.

Start with quick couplers, they sometimes seam together but don't mate up completely.

I use a Honda high pressure pump. Ran inch and a half poly pipe around the yard with hose bibs every hundred feet or so. Fire it up when needed , wife and I each run a hose and I have a sprinkler going as well.
