This is what I did for charging my L2250. The positive cable on the left is pretty stiff, it never gets near the chassis. The copper connection on the right makes it easier to get a good ground.

I've never had great luck with tractor batteries. I was told the vibration didn't help them. On the other hand the battery I got when I bought a 2004 Tundra made it just short of 10 years.

My latest buy is the SSV65 skidsteer I bought from MB Tractor in Maine. It was a rental. They did all of the filter and fluid changes before I got it. You might be able to find a good used tractor from Messicks. I would stay away from the off brand tractors.

When my Kubota came back from repair it's temp gauge didn't work. Users on this site pointed me in the right direction and I found a disconnected ground wire on the top of the engine. That was it.

I finally got around to being able to look at the sensor problem. A wire was disconnected where you guys said. After connecting it, the sensor is working again! Thanks.

I have 2 tractors and a skidsteer and an 800 ft driveway to clear in the winter. It's handy to have more than 1 as something always breaks in the winter when you need it most.

I have a Jensen that fits my Kubota SSV65 skidsteer I bought from the dealer. It works really well. I had another Jensen years ago mounted on a motorcycle. No problems with either one.

We have a GC2300 as one of our tractors. I added wheel weights and spiked chains. My driveway is fairly steep. They worked well. After I get it paved again I don't think I'll use the spiked chains. I may go back to the regular chains. Maybe I'll just plow on the downhill run.

I use both. I have a lot of battery tools for my wife. It depends on the job. For small, quick trimming jobs, I find it easier to use one of my battery saws. I love my Ryobi battery drills. I use them everywhere I can. For drilling into granite I take out the 15 amp Milwaukee rotary hammer.

I've run tubed snow tires on the front of my older Kubota L2250 for years without an issue. I use it for snow plowing, moving dirt with the FEL, and as a backhoe. I had issues with leakage from the rims. I did replace one of the rims.

I used to use Seafoam in my motorcycle but then switched to Techron. Seafoam has alcohol in it. I don't see that on the Techron MSDS sheet.
