We don't have a Costco or Sams club close here. All the bourbons you mentioned are the upper $30's here. Still very good bourbons for the price. I bought a bottle of Eagle Rare a year ago for $70.00 at an out of town store. A year later it was $35.00 but at a different store. Got took on the...

Years ago a co worker from Kentucky said he'd bring me back some "shine" from his uncles when he went back to visit family. I was a little hesitant when he handed me a little mason jar of it and wanted me to taste it. To my surprise, it wasn't that bad once you got past the burn. Lol

For the last couple of years I've been buying different bourbons and the price to taste difference is all over the page. Age makes a difference, mash bill makes a difference and proof makes a huge difference. Like wine, a distillery can put out a very good bourbon one year and it fails to...

Continuous improvement was lowering operational costs giving the shareholders dividends and the customer a fair price point. I was in the continuous improvement gig for a couple of years where I worked for 34 years.

"Ungreasable" front driveshaft zerk on 1023/1025 - problem solved!

We all have encountered a piece of equipment that makes you wonder what the engineer's thought process was in designing a service issue into a build. One would think the technicians putting the machine together would send up a red flag concerning the problem. Maybe the technicians did, maybe...

2750E Fuel Line under Tractor getting damaged far too easily

Yeah, that fuel line is just asking to be rubbed off if it's the large black hose going from one side to the other. I built a skid plate for my Kubota. If I hadn't, the hydraulic lines would be toast. With that, I'm pretty careful with clearance issues. The plate didn't make it bulletproof.

It's 27%. Thanks for pointing that out. It's still not a done deal yet. There are issues with a neighbor that is contesting the easement. Basically wanting to control what we do with our property. 🤦‍♂️

I met with the company CEO along with three other neighbors. The main theme of the meeting was outlining their plans which, was not as bad as I or my neighbors thought it was going to be. Yes, they want to use my road but just for pickup trucks to access the drill up the ridge from my property...

We own the surface rights only. From what I've read in the state statutes, a fair and equitable agreement has to take place and permit access. I've been mapping out a route they could build a road (easement on my property) which would keep them off 800 feet of my road. The only problem is it's...

Thanks for all the replies. The pay streak is 4000-5000 feet down in looking at the old drill studies the former gold company gathered. I'm assuming, at this point, it will be an underground mine. They have three small core drilling rigs in the area on property they bought. I know where the...
