    Third function kit

KennyD, I did a little digging today and confirmed your info, there’s an unused spool on the fel valve block, just need the valve handle and lines run to the rear. $380 at the local jd store. Seems way overpriced, but unless I get ambitious and fab this stuff, it’s probably the route I’ll take...

    Third function kit

Ovrszd, I think I misunderstood your post about the fel curl circuit. You’re saying divert before the control so that when diverted the curl function on the joystick would run the rotator?

    Third function kit

Thanks for all the responses. I do have a fel, but using those controls are out as I use that to move snow as much as the blower. I’m familiar with the electric valves, just prefer ol fasioned manual spool valves. To much electrickery on tractors nowadays… Diverting the pb circuit is an idea...

    Third function kit

I’m looking at adding a hydraulic chute rotator to a 3pt snowblower on my JD 4210. Does anyone know of an aftermarket (manual) third function kit that is comparable to oem at maybe a better price point? And am I correct in thinking that there’s no good way to tap into the power beyond ports...

    Tc 30 questions

Hi, I just purchased an older (I think) tc30. Does anyone know where the s/n is on these things? I'd like to find the manufacture date, but even the local dealer was of little help. (He did give me some numbers to look for if I found the s/n). Also, the engine hunts a little when cold, anyone...

    1620 parts?

Just wanted to put a feeler out... I have a 1997 1620 with a twisted loader and cracked engine block (good internals). Not sure if I'm going to fix or part out yet. Anyone out there have a parts machine with a good engine or know of an aftermarket source for a new block?

    NH fel controls

I have a '97 NH 1620 with 7108 loader. A problem that presented itself at first with the bucket moving up at about half speed progressed until it actually moves down in either position on the control. I know it is not an issue with the lines, (I have swapped the arm/bucket lines @ the valve...

    Loader  hydraulic issue

'97 1620 w/7108 loader: I have resealed bucket cylinders, checked and or replaced quick couplers, and now replaced the loader control valve........ Bucket roll circuit will power down only, when I try to roll up, it only makes the engine bog. At this point I can swap hoses around to make it go...

    New Holland loader control valve

So, my '97 NH 1620 w/7108 loader has a defective loader control valve. Apparently this valve (a Kayaba 2 spool single lever w/power beyond) is not available anymore new and I have searched numerous salvage yards. Any advice on retrofitting with a generic (Prince?) valve?
