Math Wizards ... any way to figure out this loader question?

Won't be able to do that if I'm lifting the boiler. ---------------------------------------------------- Lifted this the other day, tearing out an old porch for someone. Really interesting to see a 4'x4' slab at 10" thickness! The concrete weight formula works out to be right around 2000...

Math Wizards ... any way to figure out this loader question?

Ok, so I was moving around some concrete slabs with my 42" forks. This particular slab was 72" wide X 66" deep X 4" (avg) thickness. So we're looking at roughly 11cu/ft of cement. Allegedly the avg weight of cement is 150lbs per cuft... So, 1650lbs overall weight. So here's the question...

Land "smoothing" job ... big ruts... best options?

So I just had a job come up that entails smoothing out about 6 acres of old row crop farm land. It looks like someone left the rows with the ruts, and it's been growing wild ever since. Dirt Moving Diggin' a pond with my CK20s

The pond is nearly full already - the deep end is probably 7' + by now! I'm very pleased with the shape - I think this year I'll spend some more time contouring the yard toward the pond and tapering the banks a bit more, maybe clear a few more trees around it to cut down on the leaves.

Loader  OK to leave my loader up?

Any issues with parking my tractors with the loaders up? Takes up way less walking room in the barn with the buckets in the air, but am I causing any premature damage by doing it? And/or, is there an acceptable time/period that is safe to leave them up? Thanks in advance Sent from my...

NEW TRACTOR --- (check inside for details)

So.... knowing that Kioti owners are a more tolerant and objective bunch than some other die-hard color fans.... thought you may appreciate this. I started shopping a few weeks ago to step up to a larger tractor. Started researching all the brands again (boy did I learn TOO MUCH about global...

    New R4041 !!

Thanks for the input from those of you that helped me decide on the 40 series over the R3039. I think I would have been very happy with the 39, but I would have had that little big of regret/remorse for not just getting the bigger tractor. Thought about getting the 4047, but since I'm already...

    Talk me into either a R3039H or a R4041H !!!

Sorry to clutter up the LS Forum with another "advice" thread, but... I test drove Kioti's again today, and I'm 100% sure I want an LS. So much smoother, both the engine & hydraulics. Cheaper too  Downside of course is that I'll be getting a lower trade-in on my current tractor...

LS Owners... Are you happy with your LS, would you buy it again? (I'm shopping)

Well OK... saw a dealer today in Mich that sells both Kioti AND LS tractors. I spent almost an hour going back & forth on the R4047(H) and DK50SE(H). They are both great machines. Here are some of my objective observations between the two: ENGINE: The LS "Mitsubishi" engine seemed WAY more...

LS Owners... Are you happy with your LS, would you buy it again? (I'm shopping)

Currently own a Kioti CK20S HST w/loader. I've had it for a year and 210 hours. It's worked very well for me. It performed excellent within it's capabilities and only had two minor problems: 1) Steering-Stem gasket leaked, dealer could not fix the gasket as Kioti sent a complete replacement...
