    Clutch sticks wont always release

This sounds like something is warped and it gets worse with heat. Most new clutch installs recommend that you take the flywheel off and get it resurfaced. (Resurfacing involves mounting the flywheel on a turntable and having the surface ground flat to remove the hardened high spots) Though after...

You are talking about a tire with a bead to hold the sidewall of the tire in place. What David is working with is what I call a .5" tire. All .5" rims that I have seen (16.5,17.5,19.5,22.5,24.5, etc.) have a tapered bead and the pressure of the air inside holds the tire on the rim. If the tire...

I use recycled pieces of carpet to do the same thing. I have a piece rolled up in most of my buildings and in my work truck. DPF and Emission Controls vs Models

That's interesting because 2 of my mechanic friends tell me that over 50% of warranty work on new tractors is emissions related. I've run into this problem before. On a diesel tractor there just happened to be a leather glove floating around in the fuel tank. Every once in a wile it would float over the fuel outlet inside the fuel tank and shut the engine off. After a while you could start the engine again. The other...

I have two 72" mowers. The first one I bought is a Farm King and I pull it with my 4410 with R-3's. I modified it by making it a rear discharge mower and adding a anti scalping roller just behind the center blade. Both of those mods enable me to mow considerably faster. What slows me down is...

What are you using to lube your implements and tractors?

As far as I'm concerned all that greasing a pto shaft does is make it hard to remove. The grease collects dust/dirt and migrates it into the tubes. To the point that you can't move the shaft by hand at all. That's when I get a call. Hey can you get my PTO shaft off for me? WD-40 might very...

What are you using to lube your implements and tractors?

This is the grease I use. I like it because it's water resistant and u-joints last a lot longer. It's also fairly thick and seems to stick around longer than a thinner grease. As far a pto shafts go I use WD-40. I've used oil and grease in the past but it attracts so much dirt that you can...

Why some people are too stupid to own a car

We were told in school that an engine needs around 10 psi of oil pressure for every 1000 rpm. So for easy figuring say the car is at 2000 rpm at speed so 20 psi. Gooseneck or bumper pull?

I have both. The bumper pull is by far the easier trailer to back into a tight spot as the overhang of the hitch behind the rear tires helps with steering the trailer. If you want to pull a heavy load more safely, then a goose neck is a better option. That's my opinion.

The pump in the Yanmar in my 4410 has a tandem pump. One side is for the power steering and the other is for everything else. Would that be an option?

    Well, that was easy.

I have. Yes it works and very well too. It'll start and stop 3 - 4 times and then run like you haven't run out of fuel at all. 2004 model 4410. The F935 is quite a bit more hassle if you run out of fuel.

Dual element filtration. How much dust gets past? Yup…

Ok I thought I had spent enough time trying to write what I meant but I'll take another stab at it. Dual element filtration. How much dust gets past? Yup…

To me this argument doesn't hold water. The filter is already designed to compensate for being partially plugged. IE it has extra capacity. Rear tire spinning on Rim

If you look at how the tire sits on the rim you'll see that it is only air pressure that holds the tire in place. The rim is tapered where the bead sits similar to a semi tire. R-1's and R-3's slip onto a flat part of the rim similar to a car tire, therefore they can be run at lower pressures.
