    Meteor 68 Gear box

UPDATE: found a ratchet strap hook (no strap) wedged between the fan and the housing right at the 6 o'clock position. Took me three hours of cussing, prying and grinding to get it out. Got it all put back together and all runs smooth. Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions.

No, not yet. I need to take it apart further to be sure.

    Meteor 68 Gear box

The fan does not have a shear bolt. The closest protection for that would be the PTO shaft shear bolt. The auger drive / shear bolt is down stream of the fan.

    Meteor 68 Gear box

    Meteor 68 Gear box

I pulled the shear pin for the auger side of the works. I can spin the auger with one finger. The problem is definitely the fan / gear box combo. The fan bolts directly to a stub shaft that is directly coupled to the gear box, according to the manual.

I took the shear bolt out of the auger side and the auger assembly moves freely. The problem is definitely in the gear box / fan area.

The PTO shear bolt did it's job and sheared but I'm still unable to turn the impeller (fan) on the PTO side of the gear...

NX4510 FRONT AXLE PIVOT JOINT FRONT SEAL

Hi all, New Kioti owner here..... While greasing the front axle, front pivot the fitting didn't appear to take much grease. I'm using a DeWalt battery powered grease gun. Thinking the fitting was clogged I stayed on the fitting and finally it 'popped' and started taking grease. Well, looking at...
