A live pto requires an independent clutch to turn it off/on. Something to consider is that some of the independent pto’s have an electric brake which does not allow the pto stub to freewheel . Makes it a little harder to attach pto powered implements (IMO).

Unfortunately there is‘t any comfort factor. If they decide to stop doing business in your area, you will be dropped. Once dropped, you automatically become high risk because you were dropped. A vicious game they play.

This is what has affected everyone else doing business with these insurance carriers. The carriers had huge losses in some states, now they are recouping the losses in all states. Another .gov helping hand that’s screwed the voters. They mandated insurance now you can’t get it.

IMO, with a vise on top, it may become kinda clunky to have around. If not in a big hurry, a t-slot top setup this way might be nice To have and would make the clamping choices a little bigger.

I like to fix vs toss whenever I can. Sometimes a tough decision with parts pricing. IMO, I would separate pump and motor, solve engine issues first. Is there a rebuild kit available for the pump? That model # doesn’t work for me...
