'95 GM trucks didn't have hubs per se. Rather, they had CV shafts which turn constantly and a vacuum switch in the front end which engaged/disengaged a little sleeve which connected the front end together. It's an altogether different front end and the main components are still on most truck...

That depends on species, time of year cut from the stump, where you are ( humidity and drying conditions) time of year sawn and what you want to do with them. Also air or kiln dried. March and April are optimum drying months here as there isn't a lot of humidity in the air. I will be sawing...

I'm not sure what the problem is. I rented one to haul my Ranger 50 miles to the garage. By their standards the little tire straps were enough to hold it on. Yet the truck was longer than the trailer so I ran straps from each side of the rear axle to keep it from moving.

Years ago I was the first outsider on the scene after a hiker had slipped on ice and fallen 100 feet onto a frozen river. When I got there his daughter said "he's gone", and a quick glance told me she was right. At the time I was self employed, cruising timber and offering other services over a...

It's not that I can't hear... often I just can't understand especially when there's a lot of background noise. The first time I took a hearing test was in a soundproof booth at a paper mill. A lot of us would prefer that setup. Odds are that they sold it for as much as if it'd had an 8 speed. I thought that GM had phased out the manual transmission before the turn of the century... although for a while that's what they were calling their automatics because you could "manually"...
