If you can see this picture I changed my alternator out with a one wire GM alternator. Hooked Green and the purple wire to the plus on alternator and ran a #10 from the plus on alternator to the starter post from battery. Tied the black wire to the ground. I still have to get the gauge working...

I have purchased my first tractor today. I am 38 and have 21.6 acres of land. I plan to get the maintenance done before I start using tractor. Its a 2004 Farm Pro 2425 and has not been well maintained from the looks of the oil and air filter. I hope I didn't buy a lemon, but only time will tell...
