    Tiller

Tried out the new tiller today. KK 48" XB, on my BX 1860. I was very pleased with way the 1860 powered the unit. All was going great until I caught a softball sized rock that stopped me dead in my tracks. Killed the engine. I guess I need to find that thread called "Slip Clutch adjustment for...

    Tiller  Question

I just purchased a KK, TG 48 XB tiller for my BX 1860 after the great advice I got on this site. Bought it from local Farm and Garden. The kid that sold it to me stated that the gear cases are full, ( I'll check anyway), but I will need to grease the unit. No big deal. He said he believed it...

    Tiller  BX 1860

I am a rookie at this, so I may be concerned for nothing. My BX 1860 has 35 hrs on it most of which were blowing snow. I mowed with it today and when finished, I noticed that the rear end of the trans and rear axel housing were really warm to the touch. The fluid level looked a bit high on the...

New to site with new toy.

I have already learned quite a bit, and look forward to using the site regularly. I am Bill, I live in Northern Mi., and I just sold my 1971 JD 140, H-3 and bought a new BX 1860, with front mount snow blower, 54" MMM, and a back blade. Saving for the FEL. So far I love the machine, and am...
