Is buying a tractor like buying a car? We're about to strike on our first purchase. Probably going with a Mahindra 1526 4WD... at least, if I were to buy right this second. How negotiable are prices on a tractor? I've been quoted ~$22K for a 1526 with a loader and tiller. Tax included.

There is no rush on this. Hopefully within the next month. But we are in the market for a compact utility tractor. Nothing large, but big enough to get the job done. I've looked at Case/Farmall, Mahindra (great warranty), and Kubota. I have ZERO experience in this market. I want to get the best...
