This was the last station on the west end of our county. The house and barn/silo in the background are still there, and the state road now follows the RR path.

This morning this town had a tornado go thru. this is about 5-6 miles north of our farm.

this was taking up the rails in 1932. I played HS basketball in that school, and used to play little league baseball next to it. That school building was torn down last year.

Our farm is full of old oil wells from the late 1800s into early 1900s. 30 some on the farm. there was an old pump house on the farm that had cables going to all the wells to pump them from a central point. One tank like this was used for water for our old house that l lived in for a few years...
