Thanks. I think I recall the former property owner telling me they were mid mount and specific to one brand tractor. Tomorrow is suppose to be above average temps. Yeah. I need to bite the bullet and buy. After installing glow plugs timer, I took for a spin to check out possible damage from high winds last night. Water pump leaking pretty good now. With my luck, by the time I get a pump our warm spell will end and it'll be too cold to work with wet hands...

Ended up paying 65 for a timer relay. Glow plug light and plugs themselves are now working, thanks to all whe helped me with diagnosis charts.

I'm in need of a water pump for tc29D. Prices are ranging from $95 to $141. There was a $365, but I don't count that crook business... Some other tractors are more like $40. which seems about right for a water pump. I've been to messicks, and all vendors google search I could find online, but...

OK, followed directions, light lit, and stayed lit. There is some blinking every couple of seconds. So, one issue is this timer. Saw online for about $65, so I'll look more today for a cheaper version. Thanks for all the help.

Is the throttle and linkage moving? I just had my cable bind up and would not idke down below 1600 rpm, and wd40 cured.

Is there a down side to those oils? I think the hydraulics hold 8 gallons, so I'd like to know as much as I can before I try.

Woke up to 10" of snow. Slow turn didn't work at 20*. I have yet to try the wiggle. I will also look at battery light for dimming. Are NH known for loud hydraulic whine when cold? Moat cold days it is loud, like an issue loud. As it warms it diminishes.

I tried the slow turn, and I heard a relay cycle, but no light. Started much easier, but it was warmer. 35 degrees. Thanks. I tend to overthink things... so while laying in bed this morning, I was wondering if I measured correctly. I measured with arms level to ground, and measured at an angle from top link bracket to centerline of lower arms. Should I have measured straight back, parallel to lower arms?

I've done lots of reading. Still unsure. Looking for a top link for brush hog, ballast box. I measured with side bars level, top link pin to centerline of side link level. I measured 27 inches. Do I need a top link that the middle of travel is 27 inches? New Holland TC29D
