PTO shaft stopped turning. Light in dash shows messed gears on, yellow light by engage switch not on. Any ideas as to what maybe problem? Pushed yellow button that's used for easy pto shaft hookup,but does not help. Has a cab if that makes any difference. thanks for advice in advance. Jerry

Have a John Deere 1010 gas farm tractor that sputtered for a while, losing power of course and then shut down and now it won't start. Has fire jumping across points but intermittent to plugs and will back fire sometimes when it does fire to plugs. Replaced Distributor cap and coil, no help...
